THE AREA

The area it is ideal for all ages. Valeixe, the village where the house is located, is very close to a large number of leisure activities. In particular, for sporting activities there is an equestrian club a few kilometres away, and a golf course 25 minutes away, the river has many bathing spots and even a lake within walking distance, as well as various activities such as kayaking, canoeing, river rafting, etc. For adults there are also plenty of paintball fields nearby, as well as municipal swimming pools, mini golf etc, for groups to enjoy.

Finally, Valeixe is in an ideal location for Galicia, as it is only 40 minutes from Vigo (the largest city in Galicia) to enjoy the beach and the rest of the leisure activities of a big city. On the other hand, it is located 20 minutes from Ourense, another great city of cultural importance, with its famous Roman thermal baths to enjoy a bath with family or couple. The gastronomy of the village and the surrounding area, makes it a very interesting place, as the fame of the wine of the area is notorious. In addition, both Valeixe and the surrounding villages are famous for the production of sausages, in particular ‘o xamón e o chourizo’.
